There is a photo somewhere on the Internet that I couldn't get out of my head. I just had to try and paint the owl depicted with the colors of the photo intact. So with that photo in mind, deep colors were used to created as much drama as possible in this acrylic painting. Owls have always held a fascination for me so painting them is a real pleasure.
